Where do I go for Sunday services?
Services are held in our Church Sanctuary—the lobby entrance faces City Bridge Road.  Guests are encouraged to park in the reserved visitor parking spaces in the front parking lot just outside the main entrance.

Where are the various Sunday School classes held?
Our greeters and ushers are eager to assist you upon your arrival. Beyond that, every member of the Big Level family would enjoy the opportunity to meet you and be of help in any way possible.  Don’t hesitate to let anyone of us know you’re visiting and we’ll do all we can to help!

Are there accommodations for the disabled?

Handicap-accessible parking is available near the main entrance, and you are welcome to stop under the covered awning for drop-off and pick-up.  Our ushers are glad to provide and/or assist with wheelchairs as needed.  Amplification for the hearing impaired is available by asking an usher for a listening device that connects directly to our audio system.  Our ushers will do all they can to assist with any other special needs that you may have.

What about infants and toddlers?
BLBC has a pleasant, spacious, and well-equipped nursery facility.  Our caring nursery workers are eager to look after your infants and toddlers during all morning services and the Sunday School hour.

What children's programs are available on Sunday mornings?
Our Sunday School ministry includes classes for pre-schoolers and elementary children through sixth grade.  The youth program ministers to young people in junior and senior high school (grades 7-12).  Our ushers will be glad to direct your young people to the appropriate classroom.

What small group classes are available for adults?
Big Level's Sunday morning ministries include a variety of adult Bible study classes for you to choose from.  Our ushers can familiarize you with the classes that are available and direct you to the appropriate location.

Do visitors often attend one of the Adult Bible Study classes?
Yes!  We’d love the opportunity to help you feel at home.

What happens when I get to Big Level?
Our Welcome Center is in the lobby just inside the main entrance.  Our ushers will give you a bulletin and assist you in getting to your class or into the service.

What do I do before the service starts?
If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice that our sanctuary is filled with plenty of comfortable seats.  There are no reserved seats, so you may sit anywhere.  Ushers are available to assist you.  Many people will be greeting one another during this time.  As you come through the lobby, we would encourage you to stop briefly at our Welcome Center to receive some helpful information and make some new friends.

What are the services like?
The Sunday morning services generally last about an hour.  Our services include several opportunities for the congregation to join in a time of joyful singing in praise to God.  There is a time of public prayer by one of our pastors, Scripture is read, and other musical selections may be presented involving our choir, instrumentalists, or singers.  The focal point of our services is the preaching of the Word of God.

How will I know when to stand?
The pastor or the song leader will ask the congregation to stand or sit.  Generally, we stand during some of the congregational singing.

What is the pastor's message like?
The preaching at Big Level is Bible-based, timely, and relevant.  The messages help us come to know God better and to understand what He desires for our lives.  Sunday morning messages typically last about 30 minutes.  Recent sermons are available for online viewing.

Will I be asked to donate money when I visit?
At BLBC, we believe that God desires that His people would give financially for the work of the ministry.  However, the intention is that those offerings come principally from those who have committed themselves to the ministry of Big Level Baptist Church—not from our guests.  Although an offering is taken at each of our services, guests should not feel under any obligation to participate.  Instead, we would ask that you fill out a “Visitor Card” and drop it in the offering when it is passed.
